Redhat Capital PLC was founded on the premise that as a management team we would be uncompromising in how we conduct business.

At the cornerstone of our business ethos is performance, integrity and transparency and we have built the group into what it is today on those foundations.

We are ambitious for our clients and deliver consistent levels of performance thanks to our exceptional team who have over two decades of experience working across international financial markets.

Strongly aligned with our performance – we operate very strong governance which is embedded at every level of our group and supported at every step by our professional counterparties and advisers.

We now operate across most major markets including indices, commodities and foreign exchange.

We continue to develop the group and our strategy will be taking our operations into Europe and Asia.

Corporate Governance and Risk Management

Redhat Capital Plc maintains the highest standards of corporate governance with complete transparency across all aspects of the corporate structure.

Centralised around the CEO, all divisions across the firm report to both the CEO and the Redhat Capital Board to ensure transparency and timely reporting. The investment committee oversees all risk and investment decisions made by the company. The investment committee maintains independence from the board and CEO, having the right to only approve investment decisions that are in the best interest of both the company and its clients. Compliance and regulatory maintains oversight across the investment committee as well as treasury & custody, ensuring the safe holding of client funds through the use of independent and regulated custodians.

Craig Gabriel
FOUNDER - CEO

Craig has over twenty years’ experience of successfully setting up and growing companies in the finance and investment sector.

As co-founder and CEO of Redhat Capital PLC, he has played a crucial role in building the brand internationally and developing a compelling investor proposition.

Craig’s in-depth marketing and business expertise, combined with his deep understanding of what high-net-worth investors seek, has enabled him to develop innovative, risk-managed financial products and create exciting opportunities. A typical day may involve negotiating an acquisition or overseeing a financial engineering deal.

Outside work, Craig is kept busy with his 5 children (one who’s at uni) and enjoys walking his 3 dogs; a Pomeranian, a Fox red lab and a Frenchie. He is an avid reader and was instrumental in setting up the Redhat Charitable foundation, which among other causes, supports survivors of domestic abuse and neurodivergent children.

TEANA LYNNE
HEAD OF OPERATIONS
RedHat Capital PLC

Teana joined the team in July 2024, with 15 years of experience in the financial services industry across various roles, including risk management, fraud & financial crime, transactional monitoring and Know your Customer (KYC) for a leading Retail Bank.

She has a diverse background, giving her a breadth of expertise and qualifications, including the International Advanced Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering, Certificate in Complaint Handling and Level 3 Certificate in Retail Banking Conduct of Business.

In Teana’s role as Head of Operations, she supports the CEO on a day-to-day basis, dealing with investors, introducers and clients, and supporting and leading on acquisitions across the group, nationally and internationally.

Teana has been instrumental in setting up the Redhat Charitable Foundation and is proud to have been appointed as a trustee.

Teana is also a vocal advocate and supporter of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, with a bestselling book on Amazon. She was a finalist in the SheInspires Awards in 2024 and has been nominated in the Women in Business category this year. To relax, Teana enjoys spending time at home with her 5 chihuahuas, a good bottle of wine and a great film.

MATHEW CLARKE
HEAD OF TRADING/CO-FOUNDER
RedHat Capital PLC

Co-founder of Redhat Capital PLC, Mat has over 15 years’ experience in the financial services sector across a range of FCA-regulated roles with CF30 accreditation.

 He has built up an extensive network of high-net-worth clients and contacts throughout his career and has created a broad range of investment opportunities across different sectors such as funds, property, fixed and private equity.

An experienced trader, Mat displays an in-depth understanding of the market and different investment products. He regularly produces highly detailed reports and seminars for clients on subjects such as hedging and risk management. 

Mat has also gained numerous licenses and certifications from The Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment in Securities, Investment Advice, Derivatives, Risk and Taxation, and Professional Regulation and Integrity.

When he’s not busy trading, Mat is a keen West Brom fan, enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and daughter.      

STEVEN ENGLANDER
CFO
RedHat Capital PLC

Steven is an accountant, entrepreneur, writer and broadcaster. Since 1990, he has been the founder and CEO of Accounts Direct, offering accountancy, bookkeeping and business development services to companies across the UK.

He also sits on the board of several companies and is the CFO of Redhat Capital PLC, where he advises and mentors the investment partners. As a business owner and consultant, Steven has been involved in building several successful brands and has experience in many disciplines and industries, including import, manufacturing, retail, financial services and international trade.

In addition to his consultancy work, Steven produces a business-based podcast to help companies look beyond the spreadsheets and find their competitive edge.  

When he’s not analysing finances, Steven loves to read and is a huge sci-fi fan. He revels in family life, with 3 daughters, a son, 6 grandchildren and 3 Pomeranians. Steven is also actively involved with the Redhat Charitable Foundation. 

THE REDHAT CAPITAL INVESTMENT COMMITTEE

Our Investment Committee comprises of senior trading strategists, each with distinctive specialisations in various areas. These include amongst others macro strategy, long/short trading, M&A, IPOs, investment banking, or private equity.

The Redhat Investment Committee oversees and manages the investment portfolio. This ensures that the strategies deployed remain within the objective of the expected performance and returns.
