Redhat Group PLC today announced the appointment of Ash Zaman as Senior Advisor to the Board, working across the whole Group’s operations with a particular focus on commodities.
Ash has over 15 years of experience working with overseas clients based in emerging strategic markets, such as South-East Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
Ash has been working recently on various infrastructure projects in Kenya, Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Bangladesh. His latest projects in 2023 are in Guyana, where he has spent a considerable amount of time structuring projects with his team.
Ash also brings to Redhat Group his in-depth expertise of complex negotiations, with his track record of serving as senior Political and Communications advisor to various heads of states across the globe. Ash has been helping British companies to secure overseas contracts, contributing to boost the British economy.
He has also worked with the Conservative Party for over 15 years. In particular, he served as a Senior Advisor during the 2019 General Election, leading him to work closely with PM Boris Johnson and various Cabinet Ministers. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Ash provided support to special advisors at Number 10 Downing Street for urgent supplies and how to manage communities during the lockdown period. His recommendations for the national lockdown were also implemented by British Transport Police, for which he was awarded a commendation.
Ash’s appointment is the latest step in the Redhat Group’s growth strategy, as it builds upon its incredible success to ensure both its international expansion to new geographical markets, and organic growth.
Commenting, Ash Zaman said: “This is an ideal time to join the Group as it continues to grow across key international markets with its offering across a diverse range of asset sectors including commodities, financials and digital solutions for asset owners.”
Craig Gabriel, CEO, Redhat Group, said: “Redhat Group will benefit from Ash’s network across governments, corporates and major private asset owners in both established and emerging markets. His expertise working at senior government levels provides invaluable insight as we continue to expand our financial projects in monetising illiquid assets, providing asset-backed finance solutions for our clients. I am delighted to welcome Ash to the Redhat family.”
