OUR STORY

Redhat Capital PLC was founded on the premise that as a management team we would be uncompromising in how we conduct business.

At the cornerstone of our business ethos is performance, integrity and transparency and we have built the group into what it is today on those foundations.

We are ambitious for our clients and deliver consistent levels of performance thanks to our exceptional team who have over two decades of experience working across international financial markets.

Strongly aligned with our performance – we operate very strong governance which is embedded at every level of our group and supported at every step by our professional counterparties and advisers.

We now operate across most major markets including indices, commodities and foreign exchange.

We continue to develop the group and our strategy will be taking our operations into Europe and Asia.

OUR PEOPLE

CRAIG GABRIEL: FOUNDER/CEO

Craig has over twenty years’ experience of successfully setting up and growing companies in the finance and investment sector. As founder and CEO of Redhat Group PLC and Redhat Capital PLC, he has played a crucial role in building the brand internationally and developing a compelling investor proposition.Craig’s in-depth marketing and business expertise, combined with his deep understanding of what high-net-worth investors seek, has enabled him to develop innovative, risk-managed financial products and create exciting opportunities. A typical day may involve negotiating an acquisition or overseeing a financial engineering deal. Outside work, Craig is kept busy with his 5 children (one who’s at uni) and enjoys walking his 3 dogs; a Pomeranian, a fox red Lab and a Frenchie. He is an avid reader and was instrumental in setting up the Redhat Charitable Foundation, which among other causes, supports survivors of domestic abuse and neurodivergent children.

MAT CLARKE: HEAD OF TRADING/CO-FOUNDER

REDHAT CAPITAL PLC

Co-founder of Redhat Capital PLC, Mat has over 15 years’ experience in the financial services sector across a range of FCA-regulated roles with CF30 accreditation. He has built up an extensive network of high-net-worth clients and contacts throughout his career and has created a broad range of investment opportunities across different sectors such as funds, property, fixed and private equity. An experienced trader, Mat displays an in-depth understanding of the market and di erent investment products. He regularly produces highly detailed reports and seminars for clients on subjects such as hedging and risk management. Mat has also gained numerous licenses and certifications from The Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment in Securities, Investment Advice, Derivatives, Risk and Taxation, and Professional Regulation and Integrity.

When he’s not busy trading, Mat is a keen West Brom fan, enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and daughter.

TEANA LYNNE: HEAD OF OPERATIONS

Teana joined the team in July 2024, with 15 years of experience in the financial services industry across various roles, including risk management, fraud & financial crime, transactional
monitoring and Know your Customer (KYC) for a leading Retail Bank. She has a diverse background, giving her a breadth of expertise and qualifications, including the International
Advanced Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering, Certificate in Complaint Handling and Level 3 Certificate in Retail Banking Conduct of Business. In Teana’s role as Head of Operations,
she supports the CEO on a day-to-day basis, dealing with investors, introducers and clients, and supporting acquisitions across the group, nationally and internationally.

Teana is also a vocal advocate and supporter of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, with a bestselling book on Amazon. She was a finalist in the SheInspires Awards in 2024 and has been
nominated in the Women in Business category this year. To relax, Teana enjoys spending time at home with her 5 chihuahuas, a good bottle of wine and a great film.

SONILA SHTARO:
COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Sonila holds a Master’s degree in Project Management, a Master’s in Public Law, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law. She has over 5 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant and Paralegal, having worked in both legal and corporate environments. Her background spans international law firms, government institutions and corporate o ces, where she has developed a strong foundation in administrative support, legal research, project coordination and document management. In her role as an Admin Assistant/Paralegal at Redhat Capital Plc, Sonila supports legal and administrative operations. Her responsibilities include document preparation, client communication, maintaining internal records, coordinating meetings, supporting project tasks, and ensuring compliance.

Outside work, Sonila loves to travel and discover new cultures. She enjoys the simple things in life like going for walks, watching the sunset and spending quality time with her loved ones.

REBECCA HARBURN:
PA / Head of Admin

Sam is a designer, illustrator and photographer living in Manchester with over 30 years experience. After many years working in the design industry for International clients around the world she started Miss’Chief Creative, offering creative graphic design solutions and so much more. Her work
is born out of her love for the visual and the simple art of making a mark!

As a designer and illustrator, she’s able to help us with both ends of the spectrum from brainstorming branding, info graphics, illustration, digital, print and front end website designs. Being a fully inclusive company we embrace Sam’s neuro diversity. “ADHD isn’t a setback, it’s my creative fuel.” She says her ADHD brain thrives in idea-mode: “I connect dots others might not see, I jump between concepts effortlessly, I think in possibilities, not just processes. Where some see distraction, I see a playground for innovation.

ASH ZAMAN:
SENIOR ADVISOR TO THE BOARD

Ash has over 16 years’ experience working with overseas clients based in emerging strategic markets, such as South-East Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. He has worked on various infrastructure projects in Kenya, Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Bangladesh. Ash has also spent a considerable amount of time in Guyana, structuring projects with his team. In his role as Senior Advisor to the Board, Ash works across the whole Group’s operations with a particular focus on commodities. He brings with him an in-depth expertise of complex negotiations, with his track record of serving as a senior Political and Communications advisorto various heads of state across the globe.

Ash has a keen interest in politics and has worked with the Conservative Party for over 15 years. During the Covid-19 pandemic, his recommendations for the national lockdown
were implemented by the British Transport Police and gained him a commendation.

Achieving Performance

Redhat’s trading philosophy encompasses a wide range of asset classes, including commodities, futures & options, indices, arbitrage and FX.

Our trading strategies are designed to deliver absolute returns in any given market conditions to deliver consistent performance. These returns are generated by applying a flexible model, which encompasses the following framework:

  • An arbitrage model
  • A hedging aspect
  • An actively managed portfolio with high liquidity.

Through the management team, the Investment Committee, and traders deployed to each strategy, Redhat aims to deliver consistent returns and performance over time, therefore mitigating the long-term risks.
